Shelter

The Mission shelters approximately 2,000 men, women, boys, and girls each year. What began as a soup kitchen in 1948 quickly began to include shelter for men.

As the face of the homeless began to change, it became necessary to add a Women and Children's Shelter in 1984. Changes in society made it necessary to add a Fathers with Children Shelter in 2000.
