New Life Program

Being captive to homelessness is a problem for many people!
The New Life Program exists to encourage men and women as they prepare for their return to societal living through Physical, Spiritual, Emotional, Social, Educational, Vocational, Employment and Financial programs designed to help them leave the rut of homelessness and despair.
Spiritual-Help develop the basic Christian disciplines of Church attendance, prayer,
personal Bible study, and Christian living. Chaplains are available for Biblical
counseling. All classes, workshops, and support groups are designed to promote
spiritual growth. Where possible, reconcile with family and any crime victims.
Physical-To see improvement in physical health. Regular meals and bedtimes, and a
program of healthy physical exercise is part of the daily routine. Vision and
Dental is evaluated and provided case by case by volunteer health professionals.

EducationVocational-To enable each participant to earn a high school diploma and to
receive additional education and/or vocational training.
Employment-To enhance the ability to secure fulltime, permanent employment. Steps
are taken to help the participant determine goals and establish a plan, with the added emphasis of improving that employment.
Financial-To ensure that the graduated participant is able to provide for his/her financial
needs. All outstanding fines and debts will be researched, and a Biblical plan
established to retire them. All income except a small personal allowance will be
banked toward independent living.
