The Children’s Center was added to our main campus in 2003 to provide a safe place for children and teens to be appreciated and cared for, get help with homework, grab a sandwich or snack, and of course play some sports or hit the playground!  The ministry provides after school and summer programs for our shelter guests, as well as area children and the GATE program for teens, and was our response to the spiritual reality we face everyday at the Mission--that it is easier to train a child than to mend an adult (Proverbs 22:6).
